At re : edge, we strive to design timeless and iconic spaces that people live and love in; spaces that will represent our culture and values to the future. We push the limits to make the best and most thoughtful use of resources to meet our clients’ immediate requirements whilst having a positive long-term impact, both social and environmental.
We design spaces that retain core elements of traditional Cambodian lifestyles while serving the new Cambodian aspirations. We foster collaboration amongst the larger architecture, arts and design community for a better tomorrow and a better Cambodia.
Key to our practices is defining the role of a structure, both for contemporary usage and future-proofing the design and build to reflect the needs of tomorrow.
The relationship between a space and its immediate surroundings, include nature aspects, is core to a project. We consider the way people will interact with a structure to give purposeful meaning to any design.
Our emotions and moods are influenced by nature, especially natural light. Light and shadow together define the character of a place, and form an important principle that can’t be underplayed in importance.
Shifting the lens from the build, we define the project based on the intended end users. How people are interacting with a space is more important than simply how it looks.
